Portal to the Creatix

Joy. Alchemy. Imagination. Making as Power.

The Creatrix is the generative force—the part of the feminine that makes not because it must, but because it can. This portal is a sacred laboratory where imagination, identity, archetype, rebellion, and creation converge.

Here, art is not only resistance. It is joy. It is curiosity. It is a superpower. Making art is not an escape; it is how the world is metabolized, reimagined, and sometimes healed. Even when subjects are heavy elsewhere, this portal reminds us that to create is to claim presence, power, and freedom.

Why the Creatrix Matters

Because the wild feminine was never tamed.

The Creatrix is a reminder that making is power, and joy is a radical, sustaining force. In a world that extracts, disciplines, and exhausts, to create is to resist.

Art as Activation

Process, Participation, and Public Imagination

Stand Here to Be Heard

Mural | Public Art | Process Documentation

Byward Market, Ottawa, Canada, 2024

Stand Here to Be Heard is a public mural conceived as an invitation rather than a statement. Rendered in bold pop-art colours, the work centers a megaphone releasing affirmations and messages of solidarity in both French and English. The mural is participatory: it is a space where people can physically stand, be photographed, and symbolically claim space in the public realm.

Process photographs foreground the act of creation: scaffolding, scale, brushwork, and embodied decision-making. Even when the conditions of display fell short, the mural’s making exists as proof of creative activation, voice, and empowerment.
